DIY Painted Jar Fall Decor ~ Upcycled Pasta Sauce Jars

I've been having so much fun upcycling these pasta sauce jars!

The purple ombre ones I painted first to match my office decor

just made me want to make more!

Since I had three more jars waiting for a transformation,

I thought I'd do some for fall...

They need a few more coats than you think,

but it sure is worth all that painting in the end.

It's a good thing we like Alfredo sauce around here

because now I've got a jar-painting obsession!

Arizona Iced Tea Can Challenge

Well, I did it!

I made memory wire bracelets out of all of the tea cans in my pantry!

  

The challenge was to use color combinations I wouldn't think to put together otherwise

and I definitely achieved that with the kiwi strawberry one.

As for the mint green, well, I'm almost out of those beads because

I love the color and use them so much!

Bertolli Pasta Sauce Jar Upcycle ~ Purple Ombre Painted Vases

It took a few coats of craft paint, but upcycling these Bertolli Pasta sauce jars

was totally worth it!

I originally planned on scuffing them with sandpaper afterwords to

give them an antique look, but I was so happy with how they turned out

that I left them as is.

To give them an ombre look, I mixed white in with the purple.

I didn't realize I was using matte and satin paints until after they were finished--oops!

I added some wildflower bunches (here at Amazon) and they look so cute in my office!

Now I can't wait to buy more pasta so I can do this again with different colors!
